On June 11, 2021, another training was held to strengthen national capacities for climate change, on the topic "Development based on low carbon emissions and the EU Green Agreement". The training is part of the CBIT project "Strengthening Institutional and Technical Capacities ti Improve Climate Change Transparency under the Paris Agreement (CBIT Project)" of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning (MoEPP), which is implemented in cooperation with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF).

The aim of the workshop was to provide information to representatives of ministries and local governments on what constitutes a development based on low carbon emissions, as well as to provide information on the EU Green Agreement and the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans.

The workshop organized with the support from ZOR Milieukontakt Macedonia, was attended by about 70 representatives of public / government institutions, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry of Local Self-Government, Ministry of Defense, Secretariat for Legislation, PE Macedonian Forests, representatives of local governments working in the Department of Environment, representatives of the Centers for Development of Planning Regions, representatives of the academic community, representatives of civil society organizations working in the field of environment.
