The training on Climate finances took place on 21st of June for enhancing the national capacities for climate changes. The training was implemented within the CBIT project "Strengthening the institutional and technical capacity to improve transparency on climate change under the Paris Agreement (CBIT project)" of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning (MoEPP), which is implemented in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF).
The training on Climate finances took place on 21st of June for enhancing the national capacities for climate changes. The training was implemented within the CBIT project "Strengthening the institutional and technical capacity to improve transparency on climate change under the Paris Agreement (CBIT project)" of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning (MoEPP), which is implemented in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF).
The aim of this training is to ensure and provide information to the representatives of the business sector on what does the concept of climate finances represent and how to engage in fundraising for the ambitious climate actions that were adopted recently by the Government of Republic of North Macedonia.
Around 70 participants attended the training from the local self-governments from the environmental departments within their Municipality, representatives of environmental NGOs, representatives of business sector, State Statistical Office, governmental agencies, ministries, etc.
